Olive Melody is an artist and songwriter. Her musical influences come from many different places. Growing up as a turkish child in Germany she was exposed to traditional turkish music as well as classical music. When attending a music school at the age of 4 she learned to play the violin at age 6. But nothing fascinated her more then singing. Influenced by artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Brandy she began developing her own distinct sound and began her career when she moved from Europe singing gospel at a church in Chicago. She became one of the Soloists of the 20.000 member Church. Besides singing televised sunday morning solos at Church, she started singing National Anthems for the WNBA Chicago Sky Team. After a successful start in Chicago she moved to Los Angeles where she has been performing at various events including the 2015 Special Olympics. Currently, she is performing at local venues and finishing up her debut album.
